The Story
I'm not just a consultant who advises — I'm someone who builds the infrastructure and stays involved as long as you need me. Wylie Advisory serves two distinct domains: nonprofits and private foundations. For each, the work is different, but the mission is the same: provide the practical operational foundation that lets you focus on what matters most.
With over a decade of nonprofit sector experience — as an AmeriCorps member, founding an urban farming program fiscally sponsored by the Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago, and consulting a private foundation with 8-figure assets on program and nonprofit creation — I've seen what separates organizations that thrive from those that struggle. It always comes down to the operational infrastructure.

I focus on the practical operational work that doesn't require a JD but absolutely needs to get done. For public charities, that's formation support, governance setup, and board development. For foundations, it's ongoing operational management and transition support.

I believe in building capacity, not dependency — equipping you with the knowledge, systems, and confidence to operate independently. But I also stay involved as long as you need me.
